Vauxhall has announced pricing and specifications for the New Mokka, introducing significant savings on electric versions, a larger 54kWh battery, and a more powerful 156PS electric motor. This unique compact SUV is available in three trims—Design, GS, and Ultimate—with deliveries beginning in January 2025.
Vauxhall’s new pricing structure offers notable savings across the New Mokka range. The Mokka Electric now includes up to £4,640 in savings, making electric driving more accessible, while hybrid models see reductions of up to £3,250. The Mokka Electric is now exclusively equipped with a 54kWh battery and a 156PS motor for an enhanced driving experience at a lower price.
The New Mokka Hybrid features 48-volt technology. It pairs a 136PS 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a 28hp electric motor and a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.
James Taylor, Managing Director of Vauxhall, commented: “The New Mokka has been refreshed with a focus on its distinct look. Our revised pricing, in line with recent cuts for Corsa Electric and Astra Electric, makes the Mokka Electric more affordable than ever, supporting our goal of making electric driving accessible to all.”
Vauxhall has kept the Mokka’s distinctive look, enhancing its style with the black Vizor that integrates the headlights and Griffin. Like the new Vauxhall Frontera, the New Mokka’s LED lights feature three “lighting blocks,” and it comes with body-colored skid plates and an updated rear camera.
A redesigned front bumper improves aerodynamics, and a black design line runs from the bonnet to the rear above the windows. GS and Ultimate trims add black cladding for a sportier appearance, and the New Mokka has eliminated chrome accents.
Inside, there’s a simplified steering wheel, premium controls, and a refined center console. A 10-inch digital display and 10-inch touchscreen are standard, and an upgraded navigation system, including EV routing, is available for Ultimate models.
Customers can select colours like Tropical Green, Colibri Blue, and Graphic Grey. Design models feature 17-inch diamond-cut bi-color alloy wheels, while GS and Ultimate trims offer 18-inch wheels in various finishes.
The New Mokka boasts an improved cabin design centered around a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A fully digital 10-inch cluster displays essential information, creating a sleek, high-tech atmosphere. Ultimate models include navigation and wireless phone charging, while climate control is accessible via physical buttons.
All models have natural voice recognition, activated with “Hey Vauxhall!” The three-spoke steering wheel, inspired by Vauxhall’s ‘Compass’ design, enhances the refreshed interior, along with AGR-certified ergonomic seats made of 100% recycled materials. Ultimate models add lumbar support and a massage function.
The New Mokka offers a revamped powertrain lineup, including the Mokka Electric, now with a 54kWh battery and 156PS motor for up to 250 miles of range (WLTP). The Mokka Hybrid pairs a 136hp petrol engine with a 28hp electric motor for high efficiency and performance, achieving 0-62mph in 8.2 seconds.
A simplified petrol lineup includes a 136PS 1.2-litre turbocharged engine with a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic.
The New Mokka also features various driver assistance systems, including intelligent cruise control, traffic sign recognition, lane keep assist, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection.
The New Mokka comes in three trims—Design, GS, and Ultimate. Design models have Intelli-LED headlights, 17-inch black diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 10-inch digital cluster and touchscreen, Vauxhall Connect, and adaptive cruise control. GS and Ultimate trims add 18-inch wheels, ambient lighting, high-gloss black accents, and a 180° rear-view camera.
Ultimate trims feature Intelli-Lux Matrix headlights, additional driver assists, and enhanced comfort features, including heated Suede seats, lumbar support, and keyless entry. The infotainment is upgraded with navigation and wireless phone charging.
Vauxhall’s revised pricing includes savings across the New Mokka lineup. Design trim starts at £33,245 for the Mokka Electric with a 54kWh battery, while GS trim starts at £35,095 (a £4,640 saving), and Ultimate at £38,095 (a £3,950 saving). Hybrid models also offer savings of up to £3,250.
The New Mokka Electric includes Vauxhall’s Plug & Go offer, which provides £500 toward an Ohme Pro wall box or £500 charging credit at Tesco, along with an Octopus Electroverse card for access to over 850,000 public chargers.
Orders for the New Mokka are now open, with prices starting at £24,705.
