The Vauxhall Corsa continues its reign as the UK’s top-selling supermini, securing the number one spot for both April and the year-to-date, according to the latest figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

In April 2025 alone, 2,376 Corsa models were sold, contributing to a year-to-date total of 13,852 units. This performance cements the Corsa’s status as a favourite among UK drivers and underscores its continued appeal in the competitive B-segment market.

Thanks to the strong demand for both the Corsa and the Vauxhall Mokka, Vauxhall has also emerged as the leading brand in the combined B-segment, with 22,487 vehicles sold across the two models in 2025.

The Corsa Electric is also making a significant impact, currently ranking as the second best-selling electric supermini in the UK for 2025, offering customers a compelling zero-emissions option within a familiar and well-loved package.

Eurig Druce, Managing Director at Vauxhall, commented:

“At Vauxhall, our leadership in the UK’s electric and mainstream markets reflects our commitment to meeting the needs of every driver. The Corsa’s position as the nation’s favourite supermini highlights the strength of our offering. With EV options across our entire range and initiatives like our Electric Streets of Britain campaign, we’re dedicated to accelerating the UK’s journey to an electric future.”

Vauxhall remains at the forefront of vehicle electrification, offering a fully electric version of every car and van in its line-up. The brand’s commitment to sustainable mobility is further strengthened by its Electric Streets of Britain initiative, aimed at improving public charging infrastructure and supporting widespread EV adoption.

As the UK automotive market continues to evolve, the Vauxhall Corsa stands out not just for its sales success but for its role in driving forward accessible electrification in one of the country’s most popular vehicle segments.
