Stellantis Crowned ‘Van Manufacturer of the Year’ for Second Consecutive Year at 2025 Great British Fleet Awards

Stellantis Manufacturer of the Year

Stellantis has once again been recognised for its exceptional contribution to the light commercial vehicle (LCV) sector, taking home the prestigious title of ‘Van Manufacturer of the Year’ at the Great British Fleet Awards 2025. This marks the second year in a row that the automotive group has received the accolade, underscoring its innovation, leadership, and impressive sales performance.

At the heart of this recognition is Stellantis’ stronghold on the UK’s electric van market, where the group currently holds a commanding 27.7% share across all LCV sales so far in 2025.* The company continues to pave the way for business electrification, offering fully electric versions of every model across its Citroën, Fiat, Peugeot, Vauxhall, and Opel van line-ups.

The Vauxhall Combo Electric stands out as the best-selling compact electric van in the UK, built at Ellesmere Port, the UK’s first EV-only volume manufacturing facility. The plant also produces the Citroën ë-Berlingo, PEUGEOT E-PARTNER, and Fiat e-Doblo, helping to meet growing demand for compact electric vans tailored for urban businesses and fleets.

Stellantis' leadership extends beyond electrification, with the company dominating the compact van segment overall. The Citroën Berlingo Van remains the UK’s top-selling compact van so far this year, followed closely by the PEUGEOT PARTNER and Vauxhall Combo.

Over the past year, the Stellantis LCV range has received comprehensive updates, including refreshed designs, upgraded connectivity features, and improved electric driving ranges. The creation of the Pro One business unit further streamlines the LCV offering across all brands, supporting a more unified and responsive approach for professional customers.

In addition to producing EVs domestically, Stellantis continues to supply LCV models to Toyota and, more recently, announced a partnership to supply Iveco with electric vans, including versions of the Fiat Ducato, Citroën Relay, Peugeot Boxer, and Vauxhall Movano, as well as mid-sized models like the Dispatch, Scudo, Expert, and Vivaro.

Tom Ray, B2B Director at Stellantis UK, commented:

“This award reinforces our status as the UK’s best-selling electric van manufacturer, highlighting the strength of our light commercial vehicle range. We are proud to be leading the way in the electrification of LCVs, with all four brands offering an electric variant of every model in their line-ups. We are grateful to the Great British Fleet Awards for recognising our status as a leading provider of practical and affordable vans for our professional customers.”

With a 28% total LCV market share across all fuel types this year,* Stellantis continues to deliver innovation, scale, and performance, making it the van manufacturer of choice for UK businesses.

*Market share figures exclude pick-ups and off-roaders.
