Vauxhall Introduces Pricing and Specifications for the Movano HYDROGEN
Vauxhall has revealed the pricing and specifications for the Movano HYDROGEN, its latest addition to the electric and hydrogen vehicle lineup. This zero-emission van delivers a range of up to 311 miles (WLTP) and can be refueled in just five minutes. Orders will open in spring 2025, with prices starting at £66,450 OTR.
Two Zero-Emission Solutions
Vauxhall stands out as the only manufacturer offering both battery electric (BEV) and fuel cell electric (FCEV) options, giving van fleets the flexibility to select the solution that best matches their operational needs. The Movano HYDROGEN complements the existing Combo Electric, Vivaro Electric, and Movano Electric models, reinforcing Vauxhall’s commitment to zero-emission mobility across its entire LCV range since 2021.
Cutting-Edge Powertrain
The Movano HYDROGEN features an electric motor producing 110kW (150PS) and 410Nm (302 lb.ft) of torque, ensuring smooth and efficient performance. Its Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell, with a maximum output of 45kW, is paired with four high-pressure hydrogen tanks capable of storing 7kg of hydrogen at 700 bar. This setup allows the van to cover 311 miles (WLTP), making it ideal for long-distance journeys, with refueling taking less than five minutes.
An 11kWh lithium-ion battery provides additional support during starts and acceleration while also enabling energy recovery during braking. The battery can be recharged in around 90 minutes using an 11kW AC charger.

Designed for commercial operations, the Movano HYDROGEN includes thoughtful features such as a six-way adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support and armrest, a dual passenger bench, and ample storage solutions, including cup holders and a phone compartment. Electric power steering ensures ease of handling, enhancing the overall driving experience.
Hydrogen Expertise
Building on over two decades of hydrogen fuel cell development by Vauxhall-Opel and Stellantis, the Movano HYDROGEN joins the lineup as a testament to Vauxhall’s commitment to innovation. The Movano follows UK trials of the Vivaro HYDROGEN, which has already been introduced in left-hand-drive markets through Opel.
Pricing and Availability
The Movano HYDROGEN L3 H2 Panel Van starts at £66,450 OTR (excluding VAT and after the Plug-in Van Grant), while the L4 H3 Panel Van is priced from £68,070 OTR (excluding VAT and after PiVG). Orders will be available from spring 2025.
