CROSSLAND X PRODUCT UPDATE

2019.5 MODEL YEAR

ADVANCED EVAP SYSTEMS & ACTIVE AERO SHUTTER

During MY19.5 the petrol engines with manual transmission will be upgraded and the table below explains the benefits and shows the upgrades that will apply to each engine.

Advanced EVAP System- Fuel tank vapours sent to carbon canister and absorbed. Fresh air drawn through the canister, puling vapour into the engine where it is safely burned instead of venting to atmosphere.

Active Aero Shutter - Located in front grilled, the aero shutter improves aerodynamic efficiency and reduces engine warm up times improving overall fuel efficiency.

1.2 83PS engine will receive the Advanced EVAP System whereas the 1.2T 110PS and 1.2T 130PS will receive the Advanced EVAP System and Active Aero Shutter.

Testing is currently underway for the environmental detail regarding these improvements and will be subject of a separate communication.
