Alongside the grant, Vauxhall is offering additional incentives to support electric car buyers. These include:
With the grant applied, the new Frontera Electric family SUV is now available from just £22,495 OTR. This makes it the first UK model to reach price parity with its petrol-hybrid equivalent, now costing £1,760 less than the comparable hybrid version after the ECG.
Special edition models have also been included in the savings. The 2025 Corsa Electric YES Edition 136PS (50kWh), featuring heated front seats, a heated vegan leather steering wheel and diamond-cut alloy wheels, now starts at £26,005 OTR. Meanwhile, the Mokka Electric Griffin is available from £31,005 OTR, with the Astra Electric Griffin and Astra Sports Tourer Griffin starting at £33,505 and £34,705 OTR respectively.
At the top end of the range, the Grandland Electric, featuring a 73kWh battery, 213hp motor, and a WLTP range of up to 325 miles, now starts from £35,455 OTR with the grant applied.
Steve Catlin, Managing Director of Vauxhall, commented:
"Vauxhall has been committed to electrifying Britain for years and offers some of the most popular electric cars on UK roads. We welcome the support of the Electric Car Grant for every electric model in the Vauxhall line-up - including those manufactured here at our Ellesmere Port plant - and hope this will enable more British motorists to enjoy the benefits of switching to electric."
Vauxhall continues to play a key role in the UK’s EV transition. All of its models are available with electric powertrains, and its Ellesmere Port site is the UK’s first EV-only volume manufacturing plant. The brand is also addressing charging accessibility with its Electric Streets campaign, helping the 40% of UK households without a driveway gain access to convenient on-street charging.
