Unveiled on 20 August 2025, the futuristic compact will make its world premiere at IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich on 8 September, before making its digital debut in Gran Turismo 7 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 this autumn. Gamers worldwide will soon be able to take the wheel of Vauxhall’s boldest interpretation of performance engineering yet.
At the heart of the concept is a dual-motor, all-wheel drive powertrain delivering a staggering 800hp and 800Nm of torque. The result is blistering performance: 0–62mph in just 2.0 seconds, a top speed of 199mph, and a boost function adding 80hp for short bursts of track-day dominance.
Despite its power, the Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo is remarkably light at 1,170kg, thanks to advanced materials. This allows the car to run on an 82kWh battery, highlighting how efficiency and extreme performance can coexist.
The concept reimagines the Vauxhall Compass design language, with illuminated horizontal and vertical elements framing a slim Vizor front end and glowing Griffin badge. A muscular stance and sharp body lines echo Vauxhall’s motorsport heritage, while advanced aero features – including an active diffuser, active spoiler, aero skirts, and aero-optimised wheels – ensure stability and grip at speed.
The design is finished in a striking pearl white body, contrasted with yellow aero elements and black lightweight Bcomp® components, a sustainable alternative to carbon fibre. Distinctive 21-inch and 22-inch rims, wrapped in Goodyear tyres with Bilstein pushrod suspension, underline the car’s racing intent.
The interior strips back to pure focus: a sleek steering wheel, suspended lightweight sport seat with six-point harness, and a single head-up display provide an uncompromising driving environment. Innovative illuminated fabrics – described as “painting with light” – warn drivers of surrounding traffic and enhance the futuristic atmosphere.
The Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo is more than a show car – it’s a bridge between reality and virtual racing. Following its Munich debut, it will feature at the Gran Turismo World Series event in Berlin on 20 September, offering fans their first look before they experience it digitally.
Steve Catlin, Managing Director of Vauxhall, called the concept “a breathtaking combination of iconic Corsa DNA and GSE high-performance engineering,” while Gran Turismo producer Kazunori Yamauchi described it as “an exciting addition that GT players around the world will love.”
The Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo captures the essence of Vauxhall’s performance-driven GSE sub-brand, showcasing lightweight engineering, electrifying performance, and cutting-edge design. It’s not just a concept – it’s a preview of what’s to come in the next generation of GSE models.
