2025 Vauxhall Corsa Electric Long Range Offers More Range and New V2L Feature
Vauxhall has announced key updates to the Corsa Electric Long Range for 2025, with improved range and innovative vehicle-to-load (V2L) capabilities. These enhancements are designed to make electric driving more practical, affordable and versatile.
Thanks to improvements in battery cell chemistry and powertrain optimisation, the Corsa Electric Long Range now delivers up to 266 miles (WLTP) on a single charge—a 14-mile increase over the previous version. Despite this increase in range, the price remains the same, starting at £28,900 for the Corsa Electric Long Range YES Edition.
This latest version is powered by a 51kWh battery and a 156PS electric motor, with improved nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery technology. The enhanced efficiency means it now consumes 4.3 miles per kWh.
The Corsa Electric has steadily evolved since its original release in August 2019, when it offered a 205-mile range. A facelift in July 2023 brought this up to 246 miles, and now, as of April 2025, the model reaches a maximum range of 266 miles (WLTP).
From May 2025, the Corsa Electric Long Range will feature Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capabilities. This new function allows drivers to power external devices—such as power tools or camping equipment—drawing energy directly from the car’s battery. Devices up to 3.6kW and 16A can be powered, adding a new level of flexibility to electric vehicle ownership. The V2L feature uses the standard on-board charging cable and an optional V2L gun available from Vauxhall retailers.
Fast charging remains a key strength of the model, with the ability to reach 80% battery in under 30 minutes using a 100kW DC rapid charger.
The YES Edition combines this technical innovation with a high level of standard equipment and a standout style. Customers can choose from five colours, including three exclusive new shades: Eucalyptus Green, Cobalt Blue, and Kiss Red. The bold design continues inside with a colour-matched dashboard strip, door inserts, and floor mats. Comfort features include heated front seats, a heated vegan leather steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, tinted rear windows, LED taillights and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The Corsa Electric Long Range also comes with Vauxhall’s Electric All In package. This includes:
